Year 1992. Celia, an 11-year-old girl, lives with her mother and studies at a nuns' school in Zaragoza. Brisa, a classmate who has just arrived from Barcelona, pushes her towards a new phase in her life: adolescence.
Goya Award 2021 for the best film. A beautiful representation of the twilight of childhood through the shy eyes of an 11-year old girl. Celia is beginning to unravel lies and to tie up the loose ends of a world veiled by religious education. A skilled and eloquent reflection of a period and a phase in life, the entrance into adolescence during the ninety’s when everything seemed to take off
