Cinema Jove foreshadows a bright future for two actors of the new generation at each edition of the international film festival with the prize Futuro de Cine. The award has recognized in the past young rising stars who are recognized today as a Elena Anaya, Carlos Areces, and Adriám Lastra.
One of the awarded actors is the castellan Pablo Molinero.
Before receiving the applause of critics and public with his role of Mateo in the series Movistar + La Peste (The Plague), the actor Pablo Molinero (Castellón, 1977) had already met with success on stage with his theater company Loscoderos. The recognition came through his interpretation of a mysterious man persecuted by the Inquisition in Sevilla in the sixteenth century, in the series directed by Alberto Rodriguez, La Peste. He will resume his role in the second season of this historic thriller to be broadcast in 2019 on Movistar +.
