Cinema Jove joins forces with IKEA to include, for the first time, a short film section focused on “first times.”

On Thursday the 26th, Cinema Jove will screen the short films selected for the IKEA contest ‘Primeras Veces’ (First Times). This is a micro film festival developed in collaboration with IKEA Valencia and held within the framework of the festival. It features films and creators from all over Spain, united by a common theme: meaningful life firsts.

Stories about first moves, first loves, and first goodbyes will take center stage during a special session in Sala 7 of the Rialto Building. The films to be screened include ‘Que será, será’ by Honorato Ruiz, ‘Para ti’ by Alex Orbegozo Gomeza, ‘Superhost’ by Joan Alamar, ‘Misión secreta’ by Pedro Verdún, ‘ON/OFF’ by Sara Mírez, and ‘Pequeño’ by Meka Ribera and Álvaro G. Company.

The winner will receive a €300 IKEA Valencia gift card, which will be awarded on July 3rd after the screening of the films at the store itself.
