Inaugural Gala: Un Futuro de Cine Award + Riviera Film

The opening gala of Cinema Jove 2025 will begin with the presentation of the Un futuro de cine award to actress María Romanillos, in recognition of her talent and promising career in cinema.

Afterwards, the film Riviera will be presented, introduced by its director Orfeas Peretzis and lead actress Eva Samioti.

Riviera tells the story of Alkistis’s last summer on the Riviera, marked by a dying palm tree, a complicated romance, and a mother’s struggle to move forward.

A dying palm tree, a doomed romance, and a mother determined to carry on. This will be Alkistis’s last summer on the Athenian Riviera.
