A couple of snobs installed in the farce of having to appreciate what they do not understand, a forty-something ex-triathlete in worse physical shape than the rider who brings him food, an influencer on a rural getaway who loses both her cover and her composure, or a blue-haired lady in search of a 100% natural shampoo. Scapegoating and contradiction make up Putos Modernos, the series with which the homonymous collective parodies the trappings and characters of modernity. And what is modernity? Modernity is looking for cheap flights from a very expensive cell phone, running stressed to your mindfulness class or combining down and ankles in the air. Modernity is you. We are all of us.
