Broken water, babies in breech position, premature labor pains – for midwives Nalan, Anna and Greta, a state of emergency is everyday procedure. What becoming or involuntarily not becoming a parent can entail is told without taboos – not always pretty, but all the more emotional. Then there is the constant balancing act between the full-time job of midwife and maintenance of some private life.
