Sombra and Santos live in an apartment whose electricity was cut off some time ago for not paying the rent. They receive a visit from Sombra's younger brother, Tomás, sent by their mother because they can't stand each other anymore. The boy's arrival changes things and they all decide to go on a trip to pay homage to a mythical musician that Sombra and Tomás' father listened to, who nobody knows, and who, according to them, could have saved Mexican rock.
