Ecstasy is an elliptical essay, a portrait of a young woman's experience, about her rapture and torture of starving herself to find a place in a brutal and uncertain world.
With music by David Lynch and Likke Li, among others, Maora Paasoni conceives with her first feature as a cross between a personal diary, a documentary and reflection on the body and anorexia. Ecstasy is an intense audiovisual experience, esthetically impeccable, in which Brazil 's recent story intermingles with the filmaker's experience.
