The series La Ruta (Vol. I), which premiered on Atresplayer at the end of 2022, has received numerous accolades, including the Ondas Award and the Feroz Award for Best Drama Series, while its screenplay was honored with both the ALMA Award and the Feroz Award.
The series follows a group of friends from El Perelló across more than a decade, beginning with their farewell at the overcrowded Ruta Destroy — or Ruta del Bakalao — in 1993, and moving back to the moment they first entered Barraca in 1981, when both they and “the party” still retained their innocence.
La Ruta portrays the years in which Valencia danced without pause — a period that many would like to relive, but only a few can truly remember.

Roberto Martín and Borja Soler, creators of the series La Ruta, will join screenwriter Gabi Ochoa in a conversation about the writing process behind the scripts of its first season, recently published as part of the Colección Espiral / Setenta Teclas series. The Setenta Teclas association brings together active screenwriters who, for the past thirteen years and with the support of DAMA, have published two annual volumes featuring film and television scripts selected by vote among its members. Recent titles include the scripts of Upon Entry, As Bestas, Venga Juan, Maixabel, and Patria.
