Raimon Masllorens

Raimon Masllorens has more than 30 years of experience in the audiovisual sector. He is producer and co-founder of Brutal Media, an innovative and creative producer of television and film content, specializing in fiction, documentaries, original formats, factual programs and entertainment. He has produced titles such as La Academia (Sony Pictures Television, Amazon Prime, 3Cat), El club de los lectores criminales (Netflix’s first original Spanish slasher, adapted from the novel of the same name by Carlos García Miranda); the documentary film Las cintas de Rosa Peral (Netflix) and the series Bienvenidos a Edén (top1 worldwide in 48 countries and top10 in 83 countries on Netflix). He is also responsible for the series Las del Hockey (2 seasons, TV3, Netflix and Amazon Prime) and This is Football (Amazon Prime Video, for Starbucks in co-production with October Films); the feature documentaries El Caso Wanninkhof-Carabantes (Netflix) and The End of the Storm (Sky TV, Liverpool FC, Discovery, Rakuten); as well as feature films La vampira de Barcelona (winner of 5 Gaudí Awards, including Best Film, and Audience Award at the Grimmfest and the Festival de Cine Fantástico de Catalunya-Sitges) and Te quiero, imbécil (TVE, Netflix, TV3). Among its productions, also stand out original formats such as This is Opera (TVE) and This is Art (Movistar,TV3, TVE) broadcasted in more than 70 territories and El Foraster (8 seasons, 3Cat) leading program of audience in Catalonia. Recently, Brutal Media has joined forces with BBC Studios to become its production arm in Spain, while preparing the return to TV of the popular game show El rival más débil (Mediaset) and its upcoming premieres: the Netflix original miniseries Asalto al Banco Central, an action thriller directed by Daniel Calparsoro and starring Miguel Herrán, María Pedraza and Hovik Keuchkerian and the series Vintage (3Cat).
