Frédéric Boyer has served as Artistic Director of the Tribeca Film Festival since 2012 and of the Les Arcs European Film Festival since 2009, and was appointed Director of Programming at the Reykjavik International Film Festival (RIFF) in 2020. Prior to this, he served as Artistic Director for two years, following six years as Head of Programming at the Directors’ Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival.

He has served on juries at numerous international festivals, including the Sarajevo, Karlovy Vary, Thessaloniki, Seattle, Busan, CPH:DOX, Munich, Reykjavik, Transilvania and Visions du Réel.
