Fran Ruvira (Alicante, 1983) has a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universitat de València and the UPF in Barcelona. His directorial and screenwriting debut, Orson West (D’A), is a feature film somewhere between documentary and fiction. He has developed his career in the field of audiovisual research from his PhD in Film Theory at the UPF. He is also a producer of projects such as Comala Comala (Documentamadrid), Ferida arrel: Maria-Mercè Marçal (Mostra Cinema Dones Bcn) #Precaritystory (Festival Alcances, Festival de Málaga) and Corto (D’A). She also works as a teacher in several centres dedicated to screenwriting and audiovisual narrative.
