Amélie Quéret

Amélie Quéret holds a degree in German Civilization, Culture, and Literature from the University of Rennes II (France). She began her career in the audiovisual industry in Argentina and Uruguay before completing the Atelier Paris–Ludwigsburg program—an advanced training course in European co-production jointly delivered by La Fémis (France) and the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg (Germany).

Following her training, she worked as a production manager and producer; notably, she produced Jayro Bustamante’s *Cuando sea grande*.

In 2014, she founded Respiro Productions, through which she has produced over 20 short films, many of which have been selected for and awarded prizes at numerous international festivals.

Her work focuses on narrative films with a human and social dimension, combining artistic excellence with audience accessibility. She produces across various formats—fiction, documentary, shorts, and feature films—drawing on diverse cultural and geographic influences.

In 2025, she premiered her first feature film as lead producer: *In the Nguyen Kitchen*, a musical directed by Stéphane Ly-Cuong, distributed in France, Belgium, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.

She is currently developing co-production projects with Panama, Uruguay, Lebanon, and Norway.
