Curt Creixent 2026 has extended the submission deadline for its pitch calls for short film projects and works in post-production until May 26 at 11:59 p.m.
The twelfth edition of the short film industry meetings, organised by the Institut Valencià de Cultura within the framework of Cinema Jove, will take place on June 22 and 23 with the collaboration of SEMILLERU Lab and the Palau de la Música de València.
The calls are aimed at short film projects currently in production, as well as short films in post-production. Directors, screenwriters and producers born in or officially registered in the Valencian Community for more than one year may apply, along with production companies based in the region.
Selected projects will take part in pitching sessions before a specialised jury and will receive guidance on development and distribution strategies. Participants will also attend a training workshop ahead of the presentations.
The pitching session will be held on June 22, while the preparatory workshop will take place on June 15, 17 and 19.
One selected project will automatically gain access to the next edition of SEMILLERU Lab Desarrollo 2026, which will take place in November in Gijón, with travel, accommodation and meal expenses covered by the organisation.
The full guidelines and application form are available on the Institut Valencià de Cultura website
